Our range is built on (a series of) cornerstone ingredients, and we’re obsessively selective about what earns that title.

Every ingredient must pass three non-negotiables:

  1. Exceptional properties that transform reactive complexions. Not calm, not "soothe", but actually heal and strengthen compromised barriers.
  2. Ecological integrity beyond the word "natural". That means wild-grown, regenerative harvest, genuine low-impact, not greenwashed marketing.
  3. Fair economic value for the people who harvest and process it — real partnerships, not exploitation dressed up as sourcing stories.

Wild rosehip from Chilean volcanic slopes contains vitamin A and essential fatty acids at concentrations cultivated rosehip never achieves. Our solution combines three components: cold-pressed seed oil, supercritical CO2 seed extract, and fruit extract rich in beta-carotene (the red pigment that indicates potency — deeper colour means higher concentration).

Wild rosehip

OUR ROSEHIP SOLUTION DELIVERS:

  1. Vitamin A at retinol strength without irritation.
  2. Essential fatty acids that reduce inflammation, block pollution, repair barriers, and smooth texture.
  3. Vitamins C, E, and B-complex for brightening and antioxidant protection.
  4. High levels of vitamin E and anthocyanin that calm even the most reactive skin.

This addresses what reactive skin typically can't tolerate treatment for: acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, eczema, sun damage. One botanical, concentrated to clinical grade, versatile enough to replace an arsenal of actives.

A RADICALLY SUSTAINABLE INGREDIENT

Wild rosehip has a very low ecological footprint. This wild plant does not need any water, fertilizers or external input. It grows in wild conditions, such as rocky, sandy soils and the higher parts of the Andes mountains. It doesn’t occupy any land that could potentially be used for agricultural crops.

Last but not least, the harvest of the plant has a social impact. As it’s not limited to private property, harvest is available as an extra source income for those that need it most. A plant that ticks all the boxes, an ingredient that matches our values throughout the entire line.

SOURCING AND ETHICS

We focus on wildharvested, non-threatened plants. These are very resilient, never cultivated and thus never treated. They grow on soils where agriculture is difficult such as mountain ridges or lake beaches.

The rosehip that comes from Chile travels once a year, right after harvest season. The social impact of this part of our business is of great value.
